2019 African Games: Ghana progresses in swimming and tennis

Team Ghana continues to make strides at the ongoing Africa Games in Rabat, Morocco.

In swimming Jason Arthur Jude finished in a time of 27.46 in 50metres Backstroke while Abeku Jackson finished in a time of 55.20 in 100 metres men’s butterfly

Both of them are set for the finals tonight which is expected to be a cracker.

Ghana’s quartet of Emmanuel Commey, Derek Abrefa, Samuel Akayade and Felix Lartey defeated host nation 3-2 in the team event of the ping pong competition to place 5th in the men’s team event.

In tennis Palm Benjamin Nii Okai from Ghana beats Ayella Simon from Uganda in the preliminaries stage by 2-0 (7-6 , 5-0).
