The Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) has congratulated Mr. Kwamina Asomaning on his election as President of the Ghana Association of Bankers (GAB).
Mr. Asomaning, who serves as Chief Executive Officer of Stanbic Bank would succeed Mr. Kofi Adomakoh, a former Managing Director of GCB Bank plc.
A statement signed by Mr. Kwabena Yeboah, President of SWAG said, “On behalf of the leadership and patrons of the Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG), I extend our warmest congratulations to you on your election as President of the Ghana Association of Bankers (GAB).”
It said Mr. Asomaning’s new role as President of GAB complimented his exceptional leadership skills, ability, and dedication to the banking industry.
According to Association, his impact had also been significant to the development of sports in Ghana, particularly the SWAG awards.
“Your election as President of the Ghana Association of Bankers is a well-deserved recognition of your hard work and contributions to the banking sector.
We are confident that your ability and experience will be invaluable assets to the Association, and we look forward to seeing the positive impact you will make,” it said.
