SWAG rallies behind Team Ghana as they embark on Olympic Journey

The Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) has backed Team Ghana’s participation in the 2024 Paris Olympic Games by calling on the athletes and officials to make the most of their Olympic experience.

A statement issued and signed by Mr Kwabena Yeboah, President of the Association said “The leadership and Members of the Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) extend our warmest wishes and utmost support to the team, coaching staff, and support personnel as they embark on this extraordinary adventure.”

It said SWAG was amazed at the athletes’ dedication, perseverance, and passion, which had inspired countless fans and earned them a well-deserved spot at the Olympics and SWAG was thrilled to see them showcase their skills and compete against the best in the world.

“We wish our gallant athletes the best of luck, optimal health, and peak performance throughout the Games.
“May their Olympic experience be unforgettable, and may they return home with pride, medals, and unforgettable memories.”

The statement called on all Ghanaians to cheer the team on as they made their mark on the Olympic stage.
