The Sports Writers Association of Ghana ( SWAG) has charged Asante Kotoko SC and Ashantigold SC to make Ghana proud in their respective CAF Inter-Club competition this weekend.
SWAG in a statement indicated that Kotoko and Ashantigold are not just Ghana’s representatives but true ambassadors of our football brand hence the need to be encouraged to put up a spirited performance in the Africa Club campaign.
The Porcupine Warriors, Asante Kotoko SC will take on Mauritanian champions FC Nouadhibou in the first leg of the preliminary round of the 2020/21 CAF Champions League at the Stade Municipal in Nouadhibou on Sunday 29, November 2020.
Ashantigold SC on the other hand is scheduled to engage Burkinabe side Salitas FC in the first leg CAF Confederations Cup tie at the Len Clay Stadium in Obuasi on Sunday 29, November 2020.
SWAG in a goodwill message says it is confident and thus wishes Kotoko SC and Ashantigold SC well, praying for a successful Africa Campaign for both clubs.
